  1. Traditional woven construction gives the jacket the structure needed for repeated sleeve and lapel gripping.
  2. A thick, stiff collar features special reinforcement for demanding gi training.
  3. Jacket side slits provide room around the hips when you sit into guard or change position.
  4. Cotton twill pants fasten with a flat cotton drawstring for an adjustable waist.
  5. Pre-shrunk fabric helps control shrinkage, although some change in fit remains possible after washing.
  6. Adult unisex sizing accommodates men and women, with A1 through A4 selected using height and weight.

Grip Durability

Sleeve control and collar grips put repeated tension on a gi jacket. Reinforced stitching helps the joins withstand that pulling during partner drills and live rounds. Training Comfort

You spend plenty of time kneeling, turning and reaching during class. The athletic cut leaves room for those movements when correctly sized. Breathable cotton blend fabric feels comfortable against the skin and absorbs perspiration during training. After each session, wash the uniform and let both pieces dry completely before packing them away.

Choose the larger of the two sizes indicated by the size chart. Available sizes are A1 through A4. Check sleeve and pant length as well as room through the body. VHTK support can help you compare your measurements before ordering.

Allow for up to one inch of shrinkage even though the fabric is pre-shrunk. Cold washing and hanging to dry help limit that change. Avoid tumble drying and bleach to preserve the fit and material.

Yes. It is supplied as an IBJJF-compliant competition gi. Your chosen size must also meet the event’s uniform measurements, including sleeve openings and sleeve and pant lengths. 

Yes. The set includes the jacket and pants needed for gi training, with an adjustable trouser waist and construction intended for repeated use. Beginners can use it for learning grips, drilling escapes and progressing into live rolling.

FUJI identifies Ribeiro, Team Renzo Gracie and Rilion Gracie among the organizations that have tested and approved the underlying model. The VHTK collaboration uses that same model’s construction.
